Bruce Marchiano, best known for his portrayal of Jesus in The Visual Bible, recently reprised the Divine role in the new Pure Flix Entertainment movie The Encounter—only this time he takes off his sandals and dons an apron as a modern-day Jesus who owns a diner. When five strangers take refuge in his establishment, they must decide whether to trust this strange man who claims to be Jesus. Christian music artist Jaci Velasquez and professional wrestler Steve “Sting” Borden also star as two of the patrons.
