Amanda Flower’s A Plain Death: An Appleseed Creek Mystery (B&H Books) introduces readers to a seedier side of serene Amish life. It is set in the heart of Ohio’s Amish country in Appleseed Creek, where a 24-year-old computer whiz named Chloe has just moved to work at a nearby university. Life as she knows it takes a rather unexpected turn into sleuthing territory after she meets an ex-Amish teenager who’s been accused of murder.

To commemorate the release of her upcoming novel, Amanda, who also writes under the pen name Isabella Alan, is going to be embarking on a summer book tour across Ohio. For more details, check out her blog.
