The key to any great romance is an appealing character and Cheryl Wyatt knows just how to create one. In The Doctor’s Devotion (Love Inspired), air force trauma surgeon Mitch Wellington wants to give back to his community by establishing a trauma center in rural Eagle Point. Cheryl explains Mitch’s motivation. “He lost his father at a young age to a motorcycle accident. Had a medical facility been closer, Mitch’s dad’s life could have been saved. A local farmer took Mitch under his wing and became a father figure and Christian influence in Mitch’s life.”
