Kate Carter has two extraordinary gifts: art and sarcasm. When her art
teacher, Miss Yeager, introduces the career of forensic sketches, Kate’s
photo-quality sketch aids the police in catching the man wanted in four
surrounding counties for first-degree murder, earning her the title of
South Woodhaven Falls celebrity of the year. Kate’s doing great—until
the man escapes from prison, and is apparently tracking her. Was that
guy in art class smiling at her or smirking at her?
