A native of southern Indiana, author JoAnn Durgin has also lived in Texas (Dallas), California (Visalia, Riverside and Moreno Valley), Pennsylvania (Philadelphia), and Massachusetts (Burlington). She works as a full-time paralegal and part-time at the local arts theater for Broadway productions, the orchestra, opera and ballet. She and her family live in "Kentuckiana, where the Ohio River separates Indiana from Louisville, Kentucky."
