Writing is her primary occupation, but Louise is also an adjunct professor of English and Humanities at Valencia Community College. She tries to inspire younger students to complete their education early, but Louise hopes her experiences also proves to older students that it's never too late to work toward their dreams. Louise and David Gouge have been married for over 46 years; they have four grown children and seven grandchildren.
