Writing novels about real women living out their
faith and finding love in the midst of everyday—
and sometimes not so everyday—situations, is a
passion of Myra Johnson. Her latest contemporary
romance, A Horseman’s Hope (Heartsong
Presents), finds trainee occupational therapist
Grace Lorimer falling in love with single dad
Ryan O’Keefe, whose daughter has Asperger’s
disorder. “Grace admires Ryan for overcoming
his past, establishing himself as a successful
farrier, and being a caring and attentive dad to
his little daughter,” shares Myra. “Grace sees in
Ryan a man who loves with patience, tenderness
and respect—everything she needs before she
can release her fear of closeness and allow herself
to love him in return.”
