The inspiration for The Wedding Dress (Thomas Nelson) came to Rachel Hauck at a girls’ weekend in Nashville. Listening to her girlfriend talk about searching for the “perfect” wedding dress for her recently married daughter, Rachel became lost in her story world. “While they talked about weddings and gowns, I was imagining the journey of one wedding gown. What kind of story would a wedding dress have? What if the dress was, say, a hundred years old? What if four women wore it, but they were not related? It was a fun book from beginning to end.”
