When Randy Singer began brainstorming
about his novel The Judge
(Tyndale House), he wondered if
it was possible to write an intriguing
story that would help people
better understand the religions of
the world. “Many Christians don’t
know much about other world
religions,” Randy says. “And even if
they did, they’d have a hard time
explaining what makes Christianity
the ‘true’ religion. It seemed to me
we needed more understanding of
apologetics. I asked myself, what if
a billionaire was dying and brought
interesting advocates from each
faith together in an intense reality
show to test the various faiths?”
The book was previously published
in 2006 under the title The Cross
Examination of Oliver Finney
.
