Not to be confused by the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, Robert Whitlow’s new novel, The Choice (Thomas Nelson), skips all the unnecessary melodrama for a very real look at the power of our choices.

Dedicated to mothers who “give away part of your life every time you bring a baby in the world,” Robert says his hope is that everyone who reads this story, regardless of age or gender, will be “encouraged to make unselfish, sacrificial choices.”

“Laying down our lives for others, in big and small ways, is at the heart of Christian living,” Robert continues. “Jesus said, ‘Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends’ (John 15:13). Wouldn’t more of that be a good thing?”
