Tracy began her writing career at age 8 by starting stories but never
finishing them. She finished them only under duress for class assignments. After college she landed a job writing radio commercials, did that for a year, quit to have a baby and finally got back into the
kind of writing she really wanted to do: books. Tracy lives near Grand Rapids, Michigan, with husband Jack, their sons, Evan, Grayson, and Riley, and a manipulative Jack Russell named Murphy.
