Christy Award winner Tracy Groot returns with a World War II novel based on the Biblical story of Rahab, Flame of Resistance (Tyndale House). Inspiration struck Tracy as she was reading a number of books on the conflict. “One of them was Stephen Ambrose’s Pegasus Bridge, the story of the spearhead action of D-Day, as fought by the British 6th Airborne Division. In it, he mentioned a brothel in the little French town of Benouville, where the battle was fought. That’s all it took, that one little mention. I thought, “Hey … I wonder if there was a French prostitute sympathetic to the Allied Cause …”
