Wanda Brunstetter: WANDA’S CHARM

(September 1, 2010)
With a brand-new novel in stores, Lydia’s Charm (Barbour), author Wanda E. Brunstetter has scheduled several book signing dates at local bookstores. (Go to for an up-to-date schedule.) If you get to see her, maybe you’ll also get to see her demonstrate her prowess as a ventriloquist. “My husband and I had a puppet ministry, and for several years we traveled with our son and daughter to various churches in the Pacific Northwest to share our puppets,” she told TitleTrakk. “Whenever I’m asked to do a speaking engagement to talk about my Amish-themed books, I take along my little ventriloquist puppet, dressed in Amish clothes. Using the puppet is a great way to open my talk and set the stage for what I’m planning to say.” The author also has more Amish fiction on the way: In February 2011, watch for her three-in-one omnibus Indiana Cousins Trilogy. Then in April 2011 she kicks off the brand-new Kentucky Brothers series with The Journey.
