story of a young woman
who discovers her identity
and comes to peace with
her parents’ faith.
Michael Landon Jr is
directing and serves as
one of the producers.
Production began in
North Carolina Nov. 8.
Published in 1997, The
Shunning was the first
volume in Beverly’s
Heritage of Lancaster
County series. The book
has since gone on to win
the Gold Book Award
(500,000 copies sold) and
the ECPA Platinum
Award (1 million sold).
