Mick Inkpen have both written and illustrated
numerous best-selling books and created characters
for television, including Kipper the Dog. Now
they apply their talent and humor to telling the
story—and stories—of Jesus. Favorite Parables
from the Bible: Stories Jesus Told (Zonderkidz)
retells eight of Jesus’ parables, using humor and
illustrations to make them relatable to modern
children, in order to teach the message Jesus
intended. Their other book, Animal Tales from the
Bible, retells four stories of Jesus’ miracles through
the eyes of animal “witnesses” to the events.
