Switching from contemporary women’s fiction to her historical romance, Love Finds You in New Orleans, Louisiana (Summerside Press), was a bit of a leap for Christa Allan. “I found going back to the 1840s required my having to think of ways to develop a story wherein my characters couldn’t communicate with one another in all the ways we’ve come to take for granted,” shares Christa. “Being a born and raised New Orleanian, I truly enjoyed the research. I had the opportunity to visit the Hermann-Grimma house in the French Quarter, which had been built in 1831, and envision the city as it was hundreds of years ago.”
