DiAnn Mills’ novel The Chase (Zondervan) is based on a real-life cold case straight from Houston’s FBI office. “It’s the first book in the Crime Scene: Houston series,” DiAnn says. “All the plots are based on solved cold cases. When I began my research for The Chase, it created a passion inside me. The story had to be written.” To assure authenticity, DiAnn spoke with those who’d worked the case and even verified her villain’s scenes with someone who’d been a part of a cartel.
