Linore Rose Burkard

Linore Rose Burkard writes “inspirational romance for the Jane Austen soul.” Her London Regency series comprises Before the Season Ends, The House in Grosvenor Square and The Country House Courtship (Harvest House).

Laurie Alice Eakes

With a master’s degree in writing, Laurie Alice Eakes is well equipped to write Regency novels, including The Daughters of Bainbridge Hall series and her Midwives series (Revell). The second Midwives novel, Heart’s Safe Passage, has just released.

Julie Klassen

The author of Christy Award-winning books The Silent Governess and The Girl in the Gatehouse, Julie Klassen has made her name writing Regency romance novels, including the just-released The Maid of Fairbourne Hall (Bethany).

Deborah Hale

Prolific writer Deborah Hale found much writing inspiration when researching her own ancestry to Georgian era Britain. The Captain’s Christmas Family, the latest in her Glass Slipper Brides series (Love Inspired Historical), released in late 2011. The Baron’s Governess Bride is scheduled for this June.

Jamie Carie

Jamie Carie is establishing her Regency credentials with her first trilogy, the Forgotten Castles series (B&H), commencing with The Guardian Duke set in the Emerald Isle, followed by The Forgiven Duke and A Duke’s Promise, all releasing this year.

Ruth Axtell Morren

No stranger to Europe, having lived there for six years, Ruth Axtell Morren has written numerous historical romance stories set in the early 19th century including Dawn in My Heart, The Rogue’s Redemption and A Bride of Honor (Steeple Hill).

Catherine Palmer

Catherine Palmer has over 2 million books in print, including her Miss Pickworth series (Tyndale) which celebrates the Regency period with The Affectionate Adversary, The Bachelor’s Bargain and The Courteous Cad.

Jillian Kent

Jillian Kent combines romance and suspense in her Ravensmoore Chronicles (Realms). In Jillian’s debut novel Secrets of the Heart, her heroine discovers a dark secret within a mental asylum’s walls. Look for the sequel, Chameleon, in May 2012.

Kaye Dacus

Kaye Dacus combined the romance of Jane Austen with the adventure of Horatio Hornblower to create her Ransome Trilogy (Harvest House). Look for Ransome’s Honor, Ransome’s Crossing and Ransome’s Quest.

Mandy Goff

A fascination with Regency romance novels led Mandy Goff to write her own stories about the period. Her debut novel, The Blackmailed Bride (Love Inspired Historical), released in 2011. Look for the just-released sequel, Engaging the Earl.
