Carol Stream, IL – The executive board of Book Blogger Appreciation Week (September 13–17, 2010) announced that Her Mother’s Hope by Francine Rivers was named “Best Spiritual/Religious/Inspirational Book” for 2010 in voting by their registered book bloggers.

Her Mother’s Hope, released by Tyndale House Publishers on March 16, 2010, quickly became a New York Times bestseller. Her Mother’s Hope and Her Daughter’s Dream (sequel released on September 14, 2010) comprise the Marta’s Legacy historical novels by Francine Rivers and are inspired by strong women from Francine Rivers’s own family ancestry. The Marta’s Legacy novels span two continents and four generations of women— moving epics about faith and dreams, heartache and disappointment, and ultimately the resilience and tenacity of love.

“We were excited to receive this news during launch week for Her Daughter’s Dream, and just before Francine’s Southeast tour, including book signings in nine bookstores in Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee,” said Babette Rea, Tyndale marketing manager. “We are grateful for this honor for Francine Rivers, coming from readers who are inspired and encouraged by Her Mother’s Hope and her other novels.”

Book Blogger Appreciation Week was first observed in the fall of 2008 and occurs every September to spotlight and celebrate the work of active book bloggers. Further information may be obtained at http://bookbloggerappreciationweek.com.
