Watching widower cop Gabe
Reynolds struggle with
parenting on his own tugs
at the heartstrings of coffee
shop owner Faith Hagin—and is almost too much for
her to bear. And narrowing
down her favorite scene in
their story, A Family for
Faith (Steeple Hill), is too
much of a challenge for Missy Tippens. “I’d
actually have to choose two,
because they’re so different.
One would be the rafting
scene: It was a really
exciting action scene, and I
got to base it on my fears
from the first time I went
white water rafting. Plus, it
was a big turning point for
Gabe and was emotional.
The other scene would be
their first kiss: I don’t want
to give any spoilers, but
ahhhh, I love to write those
first kiss scenes!”
