In April, Nancy Rue continues her Real Life series for teen girls with Limos, Lattes and My Life on the Fringe (Zondervan). Moving from the basketball hoops of Tournaments to prom dresses, Limos follows a girl on the fringe who’s been nominated for high school prom queen—and finds out her nomination was part of a prank to humiliate her. Hurt, but not dejected, she vows to use her new status to put an end to the inequality at her school. Meanwhile, the author connects with her readers through her blog, In Real Life. More than just a blog, the site has become a community for teen girls to discuss life issues and growing more like Christ.
