Second bimonthly digital magazine will cater to Christian fiction readers who love Suspense, Fantasy, Animation, and more

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (January 2, 2012)—Salem Communications Corporation has announced that FamilyFiction, the Christian fiction news source, is launching the all-new spin-off title FamilyFiction Edge. The bimonthly digital magazine FamilyFiction Edge will devote its attention to Christian storytellers in Suspense, Speculative Fiction, YA/Teen, Movies & DVDs, and Comics & Animation.

Starting with the January/February 2012 issue, FamilyFiction Digital Magazine will narrow its focus each issue to Amish fiction, Historical fiction, Romance, Contemporary and Women’s Fiction, and Children’s books and DVDs. Top authors include Karen Kingsbury, Beverly Lewis, Francine Rivers, Beth Wiseman, and Melody Carlson. FamilyFiction also covers film releases such as Courageous, from the makers of Fireproof, and The Lamp, adapted from the novel by Jim Stovall.

Starting with the February/March 2012 debut issue, FamilyFiction Edge Digital Magazine will focus on the latest releases in Suspense fiction, which includes thrillers, mysteries, and romantic suspense; Speculative fiction, which includes science fiction, fantasy, supernatural fiction, and end times thrillers; plus YA/Teen fiction, Movies & DVDs, and Comics & Animation.
