The
Inner Society is a secret society of powerful people who are creating a

society are perfect in physical attributes, but deadly in their recklessness
and disregard for others.

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR MAIN CHARACTER, MAGGIE?

In
book one, Maggie is a dysfunctional teenager, suffering from tragic
circumstances. She is hardened and
unlovable – even by readers at first. When she reconnects with Peter, an
acquaintance from her past, he shows her new meaning in life through faith in
Christ. After finally accepting the Lord, Maggie undergoes a miraculous
transformation as she learns to trust again and finds reason to put away the
anger that has held her captive.

RECKLESS INTENTIONS IS THE SECOND BOOK IN YOUR INNER SOCIETY SERIES. CAN YOU TELL US WHERE THIS NOVEL PICKS UP THE STORY?

This novel picks up after the struggle for power in book one
results in the tragic death of several Norfolk teenagers. Book two opens with
Maggie standing at the foot of her friend’s gravestone.She is struggling to come to terms with her
loss and contemplating the meaning of life.

CAN THIS NOVEL STAND ALONE OR SHOULD READERS START AT THE BEGINNING OF THESE SERIES?

Each novel in the series is a complete story, but is not
intended to stand alone.

What can we expect for the future of the series?The
explosive ending of this journey will come in book three when Maggie joins the
Resistance in fighting the horrific corruption of The Inner Society. Together
they will risk their lives to bring down this dangerous society before its
elite can execute their plans to take over the US.

Melinda Bohannon graduated from Fresno State in 1994 with a BA in Liberal Studies and became a teacher. For many years, she worked with troubled teenagers and their families. In 2004 she and her family began working with foster children. Melinda has spoken to groups of foster parents and recovery groups on matters of dealing with troubled children. Melinda lives with her husband, Richard, and their children Joshua, Caleb, and Cheyenne.
