The INSPY Advisory Board has released the winners of the 2011 Inspy Award. The INSPYs were created by bloggers to highlight the very best in literature that grapples with expressions of the Christian faith.

The 2011 INSPY Award winners are:
Mystery/Thriller: The Bishop by Steven James (Revell Books)
Romance: Yesterday’s Tomorrow by Catherine West (Oak Tara)
Speculative Fiction: The Falling Away by T.L. Hines (Thomas Nelson)
Literature for Young People: Saint Training by Elizabeth Fixmer (Zondervan)

General Fiction: City of Tranquil Light by Bo Caldwell (Henry Holt & Co)


Creative Nonfiction:
Passport Through Darkness by Kimberly L. Smith

The INSPY Award is designed to help readers in their search for the preeminent faith-inspired literature of today. The INSPYs were created to select and showcase books with the highest literary standards that grapple with the Christian faith. To find these works, the INSPYs net is cast wide, accepting nominations of books aimed at the Christian bookstore market as well as those from the general market.
