Andrews hopes readers
will be challenged and
encouraged when reading
his work.
“I want people to understand there are
answers to the questions we face—God does
not teach us to swim in order to watch us
drown,” Andy says. “Seeking wisdom is an
important part of becoming what God
intended us to be. I’ve heard people say, ‘Oh,
come on, things are not that simple.’ And my
response is always, ‘Oh, come on, things are
not that complicated.’ When you finally see
the truth about a situation you face and
embrace that answer, life is never the
same again.”
In 2011, Andy has two new books hitting
shelves—the paperback edition of The Heart
Mender (a re-release of his 2005 book Island of
the Saints), and coming up this May, the
continuation of his popular novel The
Traveler’s Gift with The Final Summit.
The author is especially thrilled that
The Heart Mender is in circulation again. “It’s
my favorite book of all the ones I’ve written,”
Andy says. “Unfortunately, the first time it
was released, it barely saw
the shelves of bookstores
for a variety of reasons—the few people that did find
it, however, became raving
fans! Now released with a
more appropriate title, the
backing of a happy
publishing company, and a
few rabid supporters who
still call it their favorite,
it’s finally ready to go.”
