Martha’s fairy tale is about to begin. Her dream of opening a shop has come true, and Once Upon A Time is thriving. Her faith in the Lord is strong, and she has an affectionate companion — her cat, Needlepoint.

One day, when Leo boldly comes calling during her Bible reading, Martha recalls the strange confession of her father, whose prayers led him to believe the Lord would send Martha a husband. Soon, Leo’s attraction forces Martha to admit that her father’s words may be coming true. But can this romance satisfy Martha and Leo? She’s past childbearing age, and his work may take him away from her. Will such realities ruin her fairy tale forever?

About The Author

Several of Ann Nichol's books play homage to the theme of "Love at First Sight" which seems to be a family tradition. Her Grandparents experienced "Love at First Sight", her parents, herself, and even her son. So it really does happen in real life and with marriages that last lifetimes. Ann lived in Greece for a couple of decades (her husband is Greek) and has grown to know and respect the land and all it has to offer.
