When Kate Welsh is not at work creating stories and the characters that populate them, she fills her time with other creative outlets. There are few crafts she hasn't tried at least once! She lives in Havertown, a small community outside Philadelphia, with her husband of 29 years. One of Kate's two daughters still lives at home and all three of them share the house with Kali, the family cat, and Echo, their Chesapeake Bay retriever puppy.
