A television star is murdered while researching a story on snake worship in Cambodia. His agnostic brother goes to Asia searching for clues on what really happened. As the brother pursues the truth, he and an idealistic young woman find ancient lore coupled with the dark forces of drugs, sex trafficking, and envy.
