Raised and homeschooled in Connecticut, at age seventeen Scott Appleton graduated early from high school and traveled to Thailand as a student missionary. While there he began writing a fantasy fiction story that, over the course of the following years, he developed into material for a seven-book-fantasy series. He is married and he and his wife have been blessed with a son.
