Susan is the second of nine children. As the daughter of a Marine, she moved frequently as a child. Susan and her husband, Steve, are graduates of the University of Mary Washington and the University of Florida. They currently reside in Fredericksburg, VA. They are avid fans of the Florida Gators and the Washington Redskins.
