Bonnie Leon concludes her Alaskan Skies series with Joy Takes Flight (Revell Books), describing the difficulties experienced by a woman in a man’s world during the 1930s. “Kate’s been flying planes since she was a child,” explains Bonnie, “First, riding along with her father and then in the pilot’s seat.
