Carolyn Larsen has been retelling stories from the Bible for little readers for a long time, with her Little Girls and Little Boys Bible Storybook line of books. The latest book, Princess Stories (Tyndale Kids), illustrated by Sergey Eliseev, focuses on 29 different women in the Bible: women who can teach young girls important life lessons.
The format of the book lends itself to discussion and getting deeper into the stories of these Biblical role models. Each chapter has a short story, a Bible verse that goes along with the theme, and some questions to talk about.
