HOPELAND, PA – Mountainview Books is pleased to
announce the September 1st release of author Don Brown’s
historical novel Destiny, the prequel to his best-selling Navy
Justice series.

“Many of my readers have called for more of Zack Brewer, the
swashbuckling, young Navy JAG officer we first meet in my
novel, Treason,” Brown says. “But years before Zack ever
received his commission in the U.S. Navy, his grandfather,
Walter Brewer, faced a unique military challenge of his own
that would require personal bravery to survive. That challenge
was called World War II, and the battle that would threaten
Walter’s life took place on June 6, 1944, in Normandy,
France.”

Destiny is the gripping story of a man who’s torn between his love for two women, his
family, and his country. Dedicated to the soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (the
Screaming Eagles) Destiny features these pioneer paratroopers as Walter leads his brave
men as part of the Allied invasion on D-Day.

Alternating between the perspectives of Walter Brewer, a Nazi officer, and a Royal Naval
Commando, Destiny tells the story of three men in three different armies who find their
lives entwined in ways none of them expect. Destiny takes readers on a true-to-life
journey packed with the ravages of love and war, romance and family, and ultimately the
power of faith.
