With his new middle school series, Jason Lethcoe takes young readers back to the days of Sherlock Holmes. In No Place Like Holmes (Tommy Nelson), it’s summer 1903, and 12-year-old Griffin Sharpe is sent to stay with his uncle at 221A Baker Street in London. (That’s right, next door to the famous detective.) When Griffin meets a woman with a case Holmes rejected—the woman claims her husband was eaten by the Loch Ness Monster—Griffin and his uncle offer to investigate. Along the way, Griffin shows his skeptical uncle what it means to have true faith in God … even when the case challenges his faith.
