Lisa Wingate returns readers to Moses Lake, Texas in Blue Moon Bay (Bethany House) as former local girl Heather Hampton returns straight into the path of Blaine Underhill, the high school football jock-turned-banker. Lisa shares, “Heather’s initial attraction to Blaine is that undeniable fascination that so many of us can never quite shake—he’s the guy who never looked her way in high school.” Blaine recalls things differently, says Lisa. “Blaine passed by her desk day after day and wanted to say something about Heather’s grief following her father’s death, but couldn’t quite find the words.” Lisa Wingate and Bethany House are sponsoring a “Join the Cast” contest where the winner will have the chance to join the cast of Moses Lake in Lisa’s 2013 book, Firefly Island.
