the sale of her debut novel,
Becoming Lucy. Her fourth—
Caroline’s Choice (Realms)—
has just been published. “I
love history and delving into
the lives of people who lived
100 to 150 years ago,”
Martha shares. “My father
gave me copies of letters my
great-grandfather had written
to my great-grandmother
during the Civil War and
that got me started.”
