In case you missed it, Karen Kingsbury made an official announcement on Facebook about the arrival of her literary family, The Baxters, to television.

Karen said via her email newsletter last week that fans “have been begging to see the Baxter Family on TV, and now our dreams will come true.”

According to Deadline, “Roma Downey and LightWorkers Media, the faith and family division of MGM, have acquired rights to New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury’s The Baxter Family novel series for television.”

The Baxter Family book series which is comprised of 22 books total has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide! And now it looks like they’ll be capturing an entirely new audience with their television debut.
