Christy Award-winning author Tom Pawlik just released his third novel, Beckon (Tyndale House). “I can’t recall exactly where the idea of the book originated,” Tom says, “but it had been knocking around inside my head for several years. Isolated little towns with dark secrets always make for great stories. For me, this was a way to explore a little about what it means to be human, to be mortal, and the lengths to which we will go to avoid the inevitable.”

Tom Pawlik works in the marketing field. He has also been active in Christian teaching, youth work, and music for over 20 years. His novel Vanish won first place in the Christian Writers Guild's 2006 Operation First Novel -- and went on to win a 2009 Christy Award. Tom is also an accomplished songwriter and musician. He and wife Colette live in Ohio with their four children and one large dog.
