TBN and Big Idea Content Group are producing all-new VeggieTales episodes with the original creative team–starting with a Christmas special coming October 2019.

Brand-new episodes of VeggieTales are on the way, courtesy of a partnership between Trinity Broadcasting Network and Big Idea Content Group. Each episode will remain true to the classic VeggieTales brand to deliver clever storytelling, biblically-based lessons, and memorable songs.

The first new VeggieTales episode will be a Christmas special that will premiere during the holiday season on TBN, and distributed on DVD and Digital download by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. In the new Christmas special, Bob and Larry and the entire VeggieTales crew bring a fresh and new story of the promise of Christmas: God With Us.

Other new episodes will explore beloved Bible stories and lessons, including a nine-episode series on the fruits of the Spirit, as well as new adventures starring beloved super-hero characters, LarryBoy and the League of Incredible Vegetables. VeggieTales is distinguished as the most successful faith-based children’s franchise of all time.

Original creators Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki will reprise their respective roles as the voices of “Bob the Tomato,” and “Larry the Cucumber.” Vischer and Nawrocki will also join the creative team led by showrunner Todd Waterman (Mulan, Transformers Prime). The episodic series will provide VeggieTales content through 2021.
