In the fourth and final book of her Seasons of Redemption series, Andrea Boeshaar weaves together romance, loyalty and the fight against evil as brothers and pastors Luke and Jake McCabe become acquainted with a sweet schoolteacher and a doubting doctor.

WHAT LED YOU TO WRITE UNDAUNTED FAITH?
The book was first released more than a decade ago by a small book club. I have always been partial to the story, so, after the rights reverted back to me, I rewrote the novel, increasing its word length, adding more character depth, and more plot twists. I also tailored it to fit my series. Realms, a division of Charisma Media, decided to publish the new, updated version. And it’s not the same book that it was 12 years ago! I want to emphasize that. Readers who might have picked up the original version will still want to read my latest release. It’s Book 4 in my Seasons of Redemption series.

STARTING OUT, WHO WERE THE AUTHORS WHO INSPIRED YOU? WHO INSPIRES YOU NOW?
I enjoyed reading authors such as Sally Laity and Louise Gouge. I still enjoy those authors’ work. To date, I read and enjoy many others too, including debut authors like Karen Witemeyer.

HOW DOES YOUR FAITH INFLUENCE YOUR WRITING?

I don’t think I could write a novel that didn’t include a strong faith element. It’s everything to me and, I feel, a worthy dimension to all my books. I can never forget what the Savior did for me. How could I forget Him when penning words from my heart?

HOW LONG HAVE YOU KNOWN YOU WANTED TO BE AN AUTHOR?
Ever since I was in the 4th grade. I wrote “books” and mailed them to my grandmother who taught English in northern Wisconsin. I think she got a kick out of them.

WHAT DO YOU MOST HOPE THAT READERS GET FROM READING YOUR WORK?
I hope they realize that knowing of Jesus is not the same as knowing Him. I hope readers will see the relationship between my characters and God and make a decision for themselves. I hope the stories are faith in action. For those who are already believers, I pray my stories touch their hearts and give them the courage to face any trials in their lives. We all have them and encouragement is always welcome.
