Randall Wallace is the author of seven novels, including the New York Times bestseller Pearl Harbor. He has written four feature films—We Were Soldiers, Pearl Harbor, The Man in the Iron Mask and the 1995 Academy Award-winner Braveheart. For his work on Braveheart, he received the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay. Wallace is the founder of Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity.

'Braveheart' screenwriter to publish with Tyndale House

Carol Stream, Illinois – Oscar-nominated screenwriter and New York Times bestselling author Randall Wallace will publish a new novel with Tyndale House Publishers, currently scheduled for release in the summer of 2011. Wallace’s book, a contemporary drama about a grieving young doctor’s journey to recover and employ his unique surgical skills, is tentatively titled The Touch.

Wallace has written four feature films: We Were Soldiers, Pearl Harbor, The Man in the Iron Mask, and the 1995 Academy Award–winning film Braveheart. For his work on Braveheart, he received the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay, as well as Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations. He directed the film Secretariat, released by Disney Studios fall 2010. A Southern California resident, Wallace is the founder of Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity.
